From the first dreaded sneeze, I remembered how foolish it was of me to not have brought my umbrella along. The weatherman did say it was going to rain but the sky looked clear that morning, so I paid no attention to his warning. And now I’m paying for it . My sore throat and earache on one side is the worse I have encountered in all my years. When I got sick in times past, it took me only a few days and a little over the counter medication to recover. That is exactly what I get for not paying attention to the weatherman. Sometimes he gets the weather wrong. But it was most ironic that the day I ignore his instructions, he gets it right.
