New Orleans is a singular American city for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is its food. The bounty of land and sea present itself in its culinary history and, as with the Lucky Dog carts, literary history, as well. We’ll leave any kind of an in-depth look at New Orleans food until I’ve been back a few more times, but the city is swimming with Creole, Cajun, French and other assorted flavors and if you’ve never been, consider these pictures a very small sample of what’s on offer!
